Exploring Catalan glass art at the Maricel Museum
From November 12, 2022, to May 14, 2023, the Maricel Museum in Sitges, Barcelona, hosted the exhibition “Catching the Light: Looking at Contemporary Catalan Glass.”
As one of the featured artists, I had the privilege of presenting several of my contemporary glass sculptures.
The “Catching the Light” exhibition underscored the significance of glass art within the broader context of contemporary Catalan art. Each artist brought a unique perspective to the medium, resulting in a rich tapestry of styles and interpretations. Visitors to the exhibition experienced a journey through various interpretations of light and form.
