First contemporary glass art biennale in France
Participating in the first Glass Biennale in Troyes, France, was an inspiring experience. This inaugural event, themed “The Presence of Glass in Contemporary Art,” ran from November 24 to December 17, 2023. The biennale brought together an international selection of glass artists and contemporary creators from five different countries, including France, Spain, Switzerland, Bulgaria, and South Korea.
Through conferences, films, and professional roundtable discussions, the event provided a platform for artists, collectors, and the public to engage deeply with the material’s potential and its role in modern artistic expression.
